Draw naturally

Live Pencil input stays native through PencilKit. Drawings and progress belong to the child, not to imported lessons.

Portable workbooks

Illustrated .vela-lesson packages combine pages, lesson plans and sensor maps. Native admission checks content and policy boundaries before a book reaches its shelf.

Bounded feedback

The host checks the active child, document, lesson, capabilities and reward budgets before applying permitted lesson feedback.

AIR inside Vela Learn

Learning content, not replacement authority.

Imported teaching content never replaces a child's drawings, profiles or progress. Policy contracts describe interaction events and permitted effects; native code retains access to the document and device.

In the source reviewed on 27 October 2026, Swift reference policies execute the rules; a compiled AIR executor is not yet verified. Open writing is presence-only, not semantic grading.
